Submission FAQ
Since we exist to support the local music scene, we are always
looking for new local artists/music to showcase to our audience.

If you believe you meet the qualifications on our Artist Submissions
page, shoot us an e-mail that includes your MySpace link and your
web site link (if any). In your e-mail, please provide a brief
explanation of what you are doing to support the local Christian
music scene (aside from playing shows!). Sorry, we cannot
reply to these requests. Also, please be patient and understanding,
as we cannot feature everyone in this manner. Remember, you can
still add yourself to our artist lists and upload your own shows
from the links on the Artist Submissions page.

STATION IS NOT YET LIVE, SO PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANYTHING AT THIS
TIME. THE FOLLOWING SIMPLY DESCRIBES OUR FUTURE SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
AS AN "FYI".
If you have original music you think would be a good fit with one of
our stations, we welcome your submission. To submit your music
for possible airplay on one of our stations, you must first complete
this short information/permission
form and
then provide us your music by any one of the following methods:
1.
E-mail us up to three high quality song files (ideally, WMA 64). 2.
Direct us to a web site that has your songs for download. 3.
Mail an audio CD (four stamps on a bubble envelope will do it) to:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT
RADIO SUBMISSIONS
Q: Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of selection (and
remaining on air once selected)?
A:
You can increase your chances of being selected for airplay (and
remaining on air once selected) by promoting the local Christian music scene as
follows:
-
1.
Add a prominent link to the AZXunderground.com site to your MySpace
and/or web site.
Feel free to use our logo. 2.
Send an e-mail to your fan list letting them know about the site. 3.
Make at least one stage announcement about the site at every gig you
play. 4.
Mention the site on your flyers, show schedules, etc. Feel free to use
our logo. 5.
Be willing to hand out any flyers or cards we provide to you at your
live gigs.
Remember, by joining forces, all of the local music scene benefits,
regardless of who may be on the play rotation at any given time!
Q: How will I know if my song is selected?
A:
We will contact you and/or you will hear it on-air. Please understand
that due to the high volume of submissions, we can not respond to
requests for information about submission status, and submissions can
not be returned. By submitting, you are giving us all necessary
permissions to air your music for exposure purposes and without
compensation to you of any type.
Q: If my song is selected, is there anything else I should do?
A:
(1) We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you send us an 8-12 second recorded
“artist self-introduction” similar to this format: “This is (your name(s))
from (your band) and we’re from (hometown). Up next is our song (song
name) from our latest (upcoming) album (album name). Thanks for
supporting local music (Thanks for listening to AZXradio.com).” (A lo-fi
MP3, WMA or WAV recording is fine for this.)
(2) Take a look at the other ways you can promote your band and music on
our web site or even on-air. Learn more
here.
Q: If my song is not immediately selected, do I have any other options?
A:
Whether or not your song is immediately chosen for airplay, there are
other ways you can promote your band and music on our web site or even
on-air. Learn more
here.
Q: Do you accept covers?
A:
Rarely. We’d rather see your original work (and so would our
listeners). If there is something very unique about your cover, we may
consider it, but only if you have obtained all the necessary licenses or
other legal rights to cover the song. If so, please provide us a copy
with your submission.

and submissions can not be returned. Incomplete submissions can not be
considered. Your submission constitutes your

maximize the number of radio listeners. We are not responsible for
airtime gaps due to technical or other factors beyond our reasonable
